The Namiba Highlights bus tours starts from Windhoek heading for Sesriem, the gateway to the Canyon and Sossusvlei
Renowned as being some of the highest dunes in the world – try climbing Dune 45 or walk into the Dead Vlei
Climbing starts in the early morning hours to take advantage of the clear blue skies.
Next stop is a walk into the Sesriem Canyon. The canyon is a natural feature which was used by early settlers as a source of water.
Onto Swakopmund, Namibia’s playground. Here there is plenty of adventures and activities to experience.
Try sand boarding down the dunes or relax on a marine cruise.
A visit to Walvis Bay is next. Walvis Bay is a world heritage RAMSAR site noted for its flamingo populations.
Take time to meander around the town of Swakopmund and enjoy the Germanic influence of its architecture.
Our journey now takes us past Namibia’s highest mountain the Brandberg into Damaraland. This is a harsh and rugged environment and home to the black rhino and desert elephant.
Also on our itinerary is a visit to Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO world heritage site and home to Bushman communities.
A visit to the Petrified Forest highlights this distinct geological feature shaped by millions of years and preserved as fossilized tree trunks.
