Taipan Lake Kariba Houseboat
Taipan is a double decker pontoon on lake kariba. With accommodation for 10 guests, there are 3 cabins with drop down sides allowing for lake breezes. There is one tender boat and plenty of cold storage.
Other facilities include an inflatable splash pool, as well as darts board and board games.

There are 3 x double bed cabins on lower deck. All cabins have mosquito nets.
For those looking to sleep on the top deck, there is limited mattresses.

Child-proof barriers can be found throughout the boat, on both the top and bottom deck
As well as a large fitted kitchen and dining area, there is a Cadac 4 burner gas braai.
Cold space is plentiful with a 230v large deep freeze and small 230v chest chiller . For drinks there is a second 230v deep freeze.

Fishing Gear
Only basic gear is supplied on a few boats. Fishermen should bring their own rods, tackle etc. Bait can be purchased along the sides of the road or in the harbour before boarding. Clients should speak to the captain regarding the best places to fish.
Noise Levels: Please remember others and keep noise levels to a minimum, especially when your boat is harboured on the shoreline of the Matusadona National Park or close to other houseboats.
Do we have to clean the boat before we leave : you don’t have to swab the decks but the boat should be returned in the same condition when you boarded.
