Malachite Kariba houseboat offers an upmarket experience for 16 passengers. Cabins are air conditioned which can throughout the night. This houseboat is solar powered and considered child friendly.
Accommodation on Malachite
There are 6 double cabins all en suite with shower, toilet and hand basin.
All cabins are air-conditioned and can run through the night.
Facilities
A fully equipped kitchen has a gas stove/oven.
For guest’s convenience, there is an ice maker and bar cooler
Cold storage comprises one large deep freezer and a smaller freezer.
In addition, there is a fridge/freezer combo in the kitchen.
The top deck is spacious and partially covered.
Malachite is solar powered and has a back up generator.
On the sun deck there is a splash pool.
Tender boats comprise two motorised boats. One is a pontoon style tender and the other a speed boat.

Car park fee – US$ 2.00 per night per vehicle
Boarding is from 11h00 onwards, disembarking from 10h00,
All linen and bedding is provided and cleaning materials are supplied.
Life Jackets are also supplied.
Other extras include landing and keep nets.
Cooler boxes are supplied for fishing/game viewing trips on the tenders.

Game fishing on lake Kariba is exciting, fun and memorable. And the greatest challenge of all is landing the tigerfish.
