Let’s start our journey in Chobe national park with game drives and sunset boat cruises.
Heading north we cross into Zambia travelling across miles and miles of sand dunes covered in teak forests. Descending into the Zambezi floodplains we travel along the scenically beautiful Mango Tree Road.
Destination Liuwa Plains National Park, affords you a unique area where the wildebeest make their annual migration.
This safari starts in Kasane (Botswana) where we will enjoy a game drive in the park and a sunset boat cruise on the Chobe river. The following day our journey to Liuwa Plains begins.
Our route takes us through sand dunes covered in teak forests before descending into the Zambian floodplains. Travelling along the picturesque Mango Tree Road to Kalabo where our first day ends.
The wildebeest migration is an annual trek where thousands make the journey in search of luscious grass. Following on their heels are the kings of Liuwa, the hyenas.
After spending 5 days in Liuwa our next port of call is Sioma Falls. Previously known as Ngonye Falls, these horseshoe-shaped falls are impressive for the volumes of water that plummet over the 20 metre drop.
Two days are spent exploring the Falls and the pristine wilderness surrounding them.
Final stop on your wildebeest migration safari is Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Here we spend time viewing the Falls or enjoying one of the many activities on offer from white water rafting to crocodile cage diving or lion walks.
