Getting to Kariba

There are a number of options you can look at to get to Kariba.
The quickest of course would be to fly in and we can arrange domestic charter shuttle flights for you. Flights can be booked from Harare or Victoria Falls straight to Mana Pools National Park.
Road transfers from Harare or Lusaka is another option.
Alternatively you could consider taking the ferry from Mlibizi

In addition to elephant and buffalo, you can also expect to find lion, leopard and other predators. These animals are found in the area but are heard more than seen.

Antelope species include kudu, waterbuck, impala, zebra and eland.
Keep a look out for baboons which are a common sighting,  particularly near the main camps.

Birdlife is always spectacular and varied with over 300 recorded species in the Mana area.

Best time of year for birds and particularly the migratory species, is in the summer months from November to April.
Insects in the Zambezi Valley are fascinating, even for avid bug-haters.   During the wet season the population explodes.
