Itinerary

Day 1 11h30
Depart Rovos Rail Station in Pretoria and travel to Rustenburg for overnight stop.
Day at leisure on the train. (Breakfast 07h00-10h00 • Lunch 13h00 • Tea 16h30 • Dinner 19h30)

Day 2 07h00 
Golfers: Morning tee off at Lost City or Gary Player Country Club followed by lunch at the club.

19h30 Dinner on board en route to Heidelberg.

Day 3 :  07h00 Day at leisure on the train.

Day 4 :  07h00 Golfers: Morning tee off at Champagne Sports Resort.
Enjoy lunch and afternoon at leisure before departing for Durban

Day 5 : 07h00 Golfers: Morning tee off at Durban Country Club/Beachwood
followed by lunch with the non-golfers at the Durban Country Club.

Day 6 06h00 Game drive in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve.

11h00 Brunch as the train departs for Mpaka, Swaziland.

Day 7 : 07h00 Golfers: Morning tee off at the Royal Swazi Sun and lunch.
18h00 The train departs for Malelane in South Africa.

Day 8 07h00 Golfers: Morning tee off at Leopard Creek (dependent) on the Crocodile River with lunch at the clubhouse. The train then travels on to Rayton

Day 9 07h00 Enjoy breakfast as the train departs for Pretoria.
10h00 Arrive at journey’s end at Rovos Rail Station.

Non golfers

day 1 – 11h30 : Depart rail station in Pretoria and travel to Rustenburg for overnight stop.  Day at leisure on board

day 2 – 09h00 : game drive in Pilanesberg Game Reserve
Explore the Lost City followed by lunch at the club
19h30 Dinner on board en route  to Heidelberg

day 3 – 07h00 : day at leisure on the train while travelling to Estcourt

day 4 – 09h00 : Battlefields tour with lunch at Spionkop Lodge and shopping OR enjoy a walk at Champagne Resort

day 5 – 09h00 : Durban city tour.  Lunch with the golfers at Durban Country Club/Beachwood.  Depart for Hluhluwe.

day 6 – 06h00 : game drive in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve
11h00 : brunch as the train departs for Mpaka i Swaziland

day 7 – 08h00 : Game drive in Mkhaya Reserve.
Visit Ngwenya Glass with lunch and shopping

day 8 – 08h00 : Kruger Park game drive with lunch at Buhala Lodge and shopping.
The train travels to Rayton

day 9 – 07h00 : enjoy breakfast as the train departs for Pretoria
10h00 : arrive at journey’s end
