Catalina Houseboat for Hire
Catalina houseboat is a luxury fitted Kariba houseboat with four staterooms and one double cabin.
Cabins are en suite and air conditioned. Hook a vundu or catch yourself a tiger. Catalina offers an ideal setting for corporate think tanks or business getaways.

Cabin Accommodation
Catalina has 5 cabins to offer.
Four of these are state rooms each with two double beds.
The other cabin has a double bed and a private lounge.
All cabins are fully air conditioned with sweeping views of the lake
Boat Facilities
Enjoy a spacious & fully air-conditioned lounge with a covered open-air dining area.
On the top deck you will find the swimming pool and loungers.
For water-based activities there is one raft and one Dory boat.
Activities
for the holiday maker there is a wide range of activities to choose from.
These range from sunrise or sunset cruises to fishing and game viewing by tender boat.
For something different try a beach barbecue, or visit a local fishing village

the Kariba dam was constructed between 1955 – 1959
Operation Noah was led by Robert Fothergill (a game warden). Fothergill Island is named in honour and memory of him.
Worming your way around Lake Kariba
All fishermen will tell you that the best worms are the “anaconda” ones. Between Harare and Karoi. especially south of Banket, keep a look out for the road side sellers.
Then it’s tight lines as you head for the beautiful Lake Kariba.
You can of course pre-order bait as well as rods.
Whatever you do, do not forget ice and lots of it. Out all day on the lake you are going to need it.
